Pug Portents

Merriam-Webster says this about portent: “something that foreshadows a coming event: omen, sign 2. prophetic indication or significance.” We’re taking that seriously over here because Vito won The National Dog Show . We think that is a sign that 2025 will reveal the true power of pugs and we are READY FOR IT.

Next week we have our final release of the year, the “Holiday Present” release, which will include at least a half dozen new features, improvements, new exports, reports, and completely awesome navigation (thanks, Megan!). There will also be a mobile app for supervisors…we HEARD YOU! Big thanks to Adam for getting all of us in line. This will be our mic drop for sure. We’ve traveled many miles in under a year!

After this release, we’re taking a breather to do some review of the system and to make sure all the buttons are buttoning, links are linking, notifications are notifying, and I’ll finally get down to building some training videos. But we’ll be back pretty quick to work on “Punctual Pug XL,” where you all will be able to punch in and out, audit schedules and punches, and do all sorts of groovy things. Watch this space…this is going to be super cool.

I’m planning conference appearances and presentations for 2025 and our focus will remain on Alaska and Oregon, however, two new provider associations are becoming friends so we will see….

I’ll be sending out three things to customers soon: an invitation to a “what’s new” web conference so you can see all the new shiny stuff, an invitation to our routine meeting with all customers, the developers and me, and some things about Canny BECAUSE WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU ALL THE TIME!
