Joy to the World

I’ve spent this week so far with IACP at their meeting in Idaho Falls where Punctual Pug was one of the sponsors. Journeys gave them the space for the conference and my new friend, Joy, got me all the things upon my early arrival, including the secret refrigerator where the cold water bottles lived. She really lights up their front desk and showed great hospitality to this tired traveler!

Some rough discussions about budget deficits, the state of services, and billing, just like a lot of places I’ve been to lately. I sat in and listened to most of the presentations and was moved by the association’s passion, conviction, and willingness to go to the mat for the people they support. (I personally would not get in these people’s way, just saying.)

Back to Utah later on to kick off the holiday season (like last year, it includes 100 pounds of stuffing for CTA ‘s Friendsgiving!). The pugs love Thanksgiving and they have been busy while I’ve been away. More on that later!
